A poem about allowing the Divine Feminine to rise within me.

During the 2022 Spirit & Place Festival, I spoke of the need for balance between masculine and feminine energies in the world.

"Outlanders" is a poem about the search for belonging, especially when we find ourselves between cultures, countries, identities, even moments in time. Our "betweenness" can be a place of mourning . . . and it can also be a generative space, a hopeful homeland we can create with others.
